Oh hey!
My name is Brooke (She/Her) and am a 23-year-old woman living on the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. I am a Graduate Communication & Media student who specialised in Marketing during my time at the University of Canberra. I have a passion for design, and thrive on pushing myself with new design styles, clients from different walks of life and bringing new and old brands to life with thoughtful, unique and strategic design.
My Story
Throughout my teenage years, I constantly found myself gravitating toward design in one way or another, whether that be my subject choices in High School, my daily tasks when I worked in retail, or where I'd find myself in my spare time. In the past few years I have absolutely fallen in love with Graphic Design, and with the added value I now can provide my Clients through my knowledge of the Marketing and Communications world, I feel strongly that I am in the right place.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking... not so much baking (the "exact-ness" of it all ruins the creative freedom I thrive on when cooking). Getting lost in a novel, getting a sweat on, a touch of yoga to relax my busy mind, and spending time with my incredible partner, our beautiful puppy, Floppy, and my friends and family are all things that fill my cup.
A funky little fact about me is that I am a Type One Diabetic. For many years I looked upon my Diabetes as though it was only a hindrance to my life and a boundary to fun. These days I have a much healthier relationship with it, and would love to use my passion for design to advocate for Type One Diabetics and share the raw realities that nobody (unless you are in the community) really know or understand.
